Gary Smith bought his shop recently, and to increase profitability undertook a process of renovating it. Part of his plan was to bring today's standards to a slimline historic shop. Unfortunately, historic shops come in awkward shapes and sizes, and the challenge was to have a counter slim enough to enable the staff to work behind it AND let customers get into the shop!
